Getting the most out of the power performance, the CX-9 has an AWD Active Torque Split (ATS) system. An onboard computer using real-time data on steering angle, yaw rate, lateral G force and engine status, determines road surface and driving conditions, distributing the optimal torque to each wheel.

Suspension
The CX-9 has front independent MacPherson struts with coil springs and double acting shock absorbers. The rear has a multi-link suspension with coil springs and double acting shock absorbers. This suspension system will have you gliding across all surfaces in comfort and ease.

Drive-by-wire throttle
The CX-9 utilises a drive-by-wire electronic throttle. Better communication with the throttle, responsiveness is greatly increased, resulting in improved control over the vehicle, making the driver fell more as one with the car.
